RLCC Media Release: Round 9 Seniors Fixtures at Woy Woy Oval

The Rugby League Central Coast (RLCC) Board convened last night to address an incident that occured at Woy Woy Oval on Sunday 9th June 2024.

Following careful consideration and deliberation, the RLCC Board has made the decision to implement a temporary ban on all spectators for this weekend’s Round 9 fixture between the Woy Woy Roosters and Terrigal-Wamberal Sharks at Woy Woy Oval.

The decision to enforce this ban comes in response to an incident that occured at Woy Woy Oval, highlighting the need for heightened security measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants.

While RLCC values the enthusiastic support of spectators, the safety of players, officials, staff and fans remains paramount.

All players and staff are reminded that they must carry their RLCC pass to access the ground during the fixture.

This measure is implemented to maintain accountability and ensure that only authorised individuals are present within the premises.

The RLCC Board reaffirms its commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all participants within the Rugby League community.

This decision serves as a stern warning to all clubs, players and spectators regarding the importance of adhering to the established codes of conduct and regulations.
